The standard 2.5L Hybrid Engine is paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) for seamless shifting which means with a targeted estimated 5.9 L/100 km city fuel consumption,* the Maverick fits your budget and your values.

AVAILABLE 2.0L ECOBOOST ENGINE

If your ideal weekend includes escaping with a group of friends and a boat to a pristine lake, consider upgrading to the available 2.0L EcoBoost Engine and opt for the available 4,000-lb. Trailer Tow Package. Standard with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, the EcoBoost Engine packs a punch with 250 horsepower and 277 lb.-ft. of torque.

AUTO HIGH-BEAM HEADLAMPS

Dark roads and other low-visibility situations don’t have to catch you off-guard. Standard Auto High-Beam Headlamps can automatically switch on in poor lighting conditions and dim when they sense oncoming headlamps. You won’t have to worry about blinding other drivers, which means you can keep your hands on the wheel and your focus on the drive.

PRE-COLLISION ASSIST WITH AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

Standard Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking scans the road ahead and can alert you to potential collisions with vehicles or pedestrians detected in your path. If an impact becomes imminent and you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. But don’t worry — they’ll only activate if needed.

REAR VIEW CAMERA

Between glancing in the rearview mirror and craning your neck, backing up can be a pain. The standard Rear View Camera makes it easier to see what’s behind your vehicle. Just make sure to keep the camera lens free of debris like snow or dust and you can reverse with confidence.

BLIS - (BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM) WITH CROSS-TRAFFIC ALERT

How many times have you tensed up changing lanes on a busy highway? Available BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) helps detect and alert you to vehicles in your blind spots, while Cross-Traffic Alert can detect traffic behind you when you’re slowly backing out of a parking spot or driveway.

LANE-KEEPING SYSTEM

Maybe you’re caught up listening to your favourite podcast or need your morning latte, but you’ve wandered a little on the road. Luckily, the available Lane-Keeping System can help you stay in your lane. This smart feature scans your vehicle’s position between the lines in the road ahead and can alert you if you’re starting to drift. Having trouble staying between the lines? You’ll see a coffee cup icon letting you know it’s time to take a break.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH STOP-AND-GO AND LANE CENTERING

Few driving situations can feel as tedious as bumper-to-bumper traffic. Enter available Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop-and-Go. ACC is next-level cruise control that can slow your vehicle if traffic ahead has stopped or slowed. When things clear, it’ll resume your set speed. The added Lane Centering feature even scans lane markings to help keep your vehicle centred between the lines.

EVASIVE STEERING ASSIST

Traffic is rolling along smoothly when suddenly there’s a slow or stopped vehicle in your path. Available Evasive Steering Assist can help make it easier to avoid a collision. It doesn’t steer for you, but it can provide extra steering support if the system’s warning goes off and you need to manoeuvre around the vehicle ahead.

The Multi-Position Tailgate makes the Maverick adaptable. By adjusting the Tailgate Retention Cords, you can position the tailgate half-closed to haul longer materials or flat to use as a work surface.
